false positive and false negative

I have a hard time to memorize this two terms, now I realize:
false positive (sometimes call Type I error) is that when the result provided is yes, but the fact is no. (false on saying yes, i.e., false on positive side)
false negative (sometimes call Type II error) is that when the result provided is no, but the fact is yes. (false on saying no, i.e., false on negative side)
